METS Department Computer Lab Rules
To maintain the quality and integrity of the computer lab we've established a few rules that will help ensure that all students and faculty can use the lab effectively.

Computer use, including Internet access, should be for academic and
educational purposes. Other work, including commercial, non-profit and
political is not permitted.

All software installed on the computers is licensed to Purdue
University. Students should not install any software until approved by the Instructor.
·
Copying or plagiarism of software is NOT allowed.
·
The equipment setup including start-up files, Windows environment,
printer settings and cables should not be altered.
·
No food or drinks are allowed near the computers; this includes sealed
or open containers.
·
Be ready to leave the lab at the posted closing time.
·
Always log off before you leave.
·
Inform the Instructor of any equipment problems.
Violation of these rules may
result in the loss of lab use.
