MET 497, IET 497 Ethics Project

Select one of the following cases from your Engineering Ethics text book by Fleddermann (each person must pick a different case; register your pick with your instructor, with first come first served).  Write a paper discussing the case, in the course of which you should answer all the questions at the end of the chapter on that case.  The paper should be at least 700 words long.  If space allows, also provide a review of the law governing the practice of engineering in the state of Indiana (Rule 11 in the Registration Act for Professional Engineers.)  Talk to a registered professional engineer about ethics.  See the rubric for grading standards.
