A Workshop of Creativity, Teamwork, and Learning

This is an excellent opportunity for high school students to explore Engineering Technology through experiential learning. The focus of the workshop is to expose students to engineering technology problems within technical and social contexts, and to encourage them to enroll in college.  This workshop will include lectures and hands-on activities in Computer Aided Design, 3D Modeling, and introduction to emerging technologies such as Nanotechnology, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Lean Six-Sigma methods, Construction methods and Leadership. Students will participate in lab exercises, field trips, industrial tours, computer exercises, and research activities.
